Hi George Lebak, I can understand how annoying this must be something as simple as pressing Print Screen should just work and now you’re stuck troubleshooting instead of getting things done.
Start by restarting Windows Explorer, then turn the Print Screen setting off and back on. Make sure Snipping Tool notifications are enabled and repair or reset the app if needed. Close any other screenshot tools that might be interfering, check that the registry value for PrintScreenKeyForSnippingEnabled is set to 1 (and review Group Policy if you’re on Pro or Enterprise), then restart your PC and test the Print Screen key to confirm it opens the Snipping Tool.
When you press the Print Screen key does absolutely nothing happen or do you see any brief flicker or notification in the corner?
Best regards
Lucky
