Microphone stopped working in Microsoft Word "dictation." Laptop is Windows 11. Microphone does not work at all. Support access continues to fail which is not helping.

Hi,
When you say the microphone doesn’t work at all, does it fail only in Word’s Dictation feature, or is it also not detected in other apps Additionally, have you checked if the microphone is enabled in Windows Settings under Privacy → Microphone? Once I have that info, I’ll be happy to share some steps that might help resolve the issue.

Hi Harold. thank you for taking the time to respond. I was able to play around within my account and get chat access - not sure what happened from the start but they were able to resolve - turns out it was a driver needing update. As to your inquiries, it would appear all was on
