    Hi,

This is a known UI bug in Office for Mac (macOS Tahoe v26.1) when using full-screen mode in light mode. The Quick Access Toolbar and document name disappear because of a rendering glitch introduced in a recent update. The fix is to update Office to the latest build, which includes patches for this issue. Until then, use Focus View or exit full-screen as a workaround.

It seems you are experiencing an issue with the visibility of the document name in Word while in full-screen mode on macOS. Since you mentioned that the quick access toolbar turns completely white in Word and PowerPoint while in full screen, this could be related to display issues in Office applications.

Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Check for Updates: Ensure that both your Microsoft Office and macOS are updated to the latest versions. Updates often include fixes for bugs and display issues.
    2. ClearType Settings: If you are experiencing poorly displayed text, you might want to adjust the ClearType settings or disable subpixel positioning in Word. However, these settings are generally more applicable to Windows environments.
    3. Toggle Full-Screen Mode: Sometimes, simply toggling out of full-screen mode and back can refresh the display and resolve visibility issues.
    4. Check Display Settings: Ensure that your display settings on macOS are configured correctly, as incorrect settings can affect how applications render.

If the problem persists, consider reaching out to Microsoft Support for further assistance, as they may have more specific solutions for your version of Word and macOS.
