After a microsoft edge update pdfs aren't the same. Some of my text disappears after saving AND the file size gets much larger

DaveM121 813.6K Reputation points Independent Advisor2025-12-11T16:07:45.5733333+00:00 This is currently a widely reported problem in Edge, it seems to be caused by an Edge update.
Open Edge, then paste this into the Address Bar and press Enter:
edge://flags/#edge-new-pdf-viewerDisable the 'New PDF Viewer' flag in there.
Restart Edge to apply the changes to see if that resolves the problem.
If not, try scrolling down on this link to find an older version of Edge and install that version.
