Hi Micki Dischinger, I understand how annoying this must be seeing duplicate sent messages in your inbox can make things feel messy and confusing especially when you expect Outlook to handle this automatically.

To stop duplicate sent messages in Outlook for Mac, open Preferences, go to Accounts select Advanced then Folders uncheck Store sent messages in the Sent folder on the server verify your mail server is not saving sent items remove any rules that copy sent mail to the Inbox and restart Outlook to apply changes.

Are the duplicate sent messages appearing only for one email account or across all accounts in Outlook and does this happen immediately after sending or after syncing with the server?

    Best regards

    Lucky

To stop receiving duplicate sent messages in your inbox while using Microsoft Outlook for Mac, you can try the following steps:

    1. Check for Duplicate Rules: Sometimes, duplicate sent messages can occur due to rules that are set up in Outlook. Check your rules and remove any that might be causing duplicates.
    2. Disable Add-ins: If you have any third-party add-ins installed, they might be causing the issue. Try disabling them to see if that resolves the problem.
    3. Update Outlook: Ensure that your Outlook application is up to date, as updates often include bug fixes that can resolve issues like duplicate messages.
    4. Rebuild Outlook Profile: If the issue persists, consider rebuilding your Outlook profile. This can help eliminate any corruption that might be causing the duplicates.
    5. Check Sync Settings: If you are using multiple devices to access your email, ensure that the sync settings are configured correctly to avoid duplicates.

If these steps do not resolve the issue, you may want to consult Microsoft's support documentation or forums for further assistance specific to Outlook for Mac.
