    Hi, megahed mohamed

    Welcome to Microsoft Q&A forum.

Thanks for your question. It looks like your Excel does not show “Data > From Picture” because the version in your screenshot is Excel 2013 (or another older perpetual version), and Import Data from Picture is not available in those versions.

Here is the key fact from Microsoft’s documentation:

“Data from Picture in Excel is only supported on Windows 10/11 (version ≥1903) and requires Microsoft 365 (subscription).”

Why your Excel doesn’t have the option

Your screenshot shows the classic ribbon layout from older versions such as:

    • Excel 2013
    • Excel 2016 (non‑subscription)
    • Excel 2019
    • Excel 2021

These perpetual-license versions do not include “From Picture”.

Only Microsoft 365 subscription versions receive this feature.

    What to do next

Here are your options depending on your situation:

    1. If you are using an older perpetual version (2013/2016/2019/2021)

The feature is not supported and cannot be added through updates or add‑ins.

    1. If you have a Microsoft 365 subscription but installed the old offline version

Some users install an older MSI-based version even though they own Microsoft 365.

    To fix it:

    • Uninstall Office from Control Panel.
    • Go to https://www.office.com
    • Sign in and reinstall using the Microsoft 365 Click‑to‑Run installer.
    1. Use the mobile app instead (free feature)

Excel for iOS/Android includes Insert > Data From Picture, even without a subscription.

This lets you snap a picture and export the table back to your PC.

Hope this helps. Feel free to get back if you need further assistance.
