After company rebrand + domain migration, Bing only index homepage
TL;DR After rebranding and migrating from a.cloud to www.b.com (August 2025), both Google and Bing ignored us. All other pages are crawled but not indexed (“Crawled – currently not indexed” in Google, “DiscoveredButNotSelected / Blocked” in Bing).
Context
We recently rebranded our SaaS company from A to B - we provide a solution to help brand digitalize apple & google wallet (loyalty card, event ticket, gift card, etc.).
- Old setup:
- Corporate site:
https://a.cloud - Support / knowledge base:
https://support.a.cloud - Both sites were normally indexed by Google and Bing.
- Corporate site:
- New setup (since August 2025):
- Corporate site:
https://www.b.com(fully rewritten, migrated from WordPress to Webflow) - Support site:
https://support.b.com(same content, only domain change, hosted on Bolddesk)
- Corporate site:
The new corporate site has substantial original content and an actively maintained blog (new articles every week). We are a legitimate SaaS company; nothing illegal, spammy, or unusual. Competitors are well indexed.
Migration details
All redirects are 301 permanent:
- Support site: 1-to-1 path redirects (URLs unchanged).
- Corporate site: 1-to-1 where possible, otherwise redirected to the closest relevant page (not the homepage).
- Old domain (
a.cloud) is no longer accessible. - Google Search Console “Change of Address” configured for both main site and support site.
- XML sitemaps: Submitted to Google Search Console and Bing Webmaster Tools è Correct page counts, no errors reported. Canonicals all point to
www.b.com. -
robots.txtallows crawling everywhere. - No
noindexmeta tags or headers. - No manual actions, security issues, or warnings in GSC or Bing.
- Old domain had no penalties.
- Most major backlinks have been updated.
Cloudflare is used, but we also tested direct access without any change in behavior.
Issue
- Google:
Only the homepage is indexed. In Google Search console other pages show as “Crawled – currently not indexed”. Even very specific brand searches return: old domain results, LinkedIn post, partner sites …but not our new pages. if I use a
site:www.b.comonly homepage is returned - Bing:
Nothing indexed - nor our old site or our new site when I search for our brand name. Bing Webmaster Tools shows pages as “Excluded”. Bing Search API reports statuses like
DiscoveredButNotSelectedorBlocked. Commandurl:www.b.comreturns our homepage (without favicon) Example response from Bing Search API:
"BWTIndexStatus": "DiscoveredButNotSelected",
"BWTIndexStatus": "Blocked",
Newly published pages (post-migration) are also not indexed, even months later. We make small content or structural changes at least every 2 weeks, but nothing improves.
What we’ve tried
- Multiple SEO audits (including SEMrush): no blocking issues found.
- External SEO consultant: improvements made, but indexing problem persists.
- Even tested moving the support site to another TLD (
support.b.io) → same result.
Question
At this point, it feels like our domains are being algorithmically ignored or soft-blocked, but with no manual actions, no errors, and valid SEO signals.
What could cause Google and Bing to crawl but systematically refuse to index almost all pages after a rebrand + migration?
Are there known trust, rebrand, or site-wide quality signals that could explain this behavior? What concrete diagnostics or escalation paths would you recommend beyond standard SEO checks?
Any insight from people who’ve seen similar cases would be greatly appreciated.
