Hi,

I'm trying to make my image background transparent in Microsoft Designer. 'm using Window 10. After successfully removing the image background, then going up to the top right download option, opening it, I don't see the option to MAKE BACKGROUND TRANSPARENT. My photo is in a PNG format, and I'm editing the image under the Edit with AI. What I'm I doing wrong? I have been working on this for over 3 hour now. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

Thanks very much.

To make the background of your image transparent in Microsoft Designer, ensure that you are using the correct tools and settings. Here are some steps you can follow:

    1. Remove Background: Make sure you have successfully removed the background of your image using the available tools in Microsoft Designer. This typically involves selecting the area you want to keep and removing the rest.
    2. Check Image Format: Since you mentioned your photo is in PNG format, this is good because PNG supports transparency. Ensure that the image is saved as a PNG after editing.
    3. Download Options: After editing, when you go to download the image, look for options related to transparency. Sometimes, the option to maintain transparency may not be explicitly labeled as "Make Background Transparent" but could be part of the download settings.
    4. Use AI Editing Tools: If you are using the Edit with AI feature, ensure that any settings related to background removal or transparency are correctly configured before downloading.

If you still do not see the option for transparency after following these steps, it may be helpful to consult the help documentation for Microsoft Designer or reach out to their support for more specific guidance.
