I can’t remember my windows 7 login password. If I take it to a computer repair store, is there any way they can “break in”.

If this is a local Windows 7 account, there isn’t a supported way to “recover” the existing password after it’s forgotten unless you previously created a password reset disk; otherwise, the practical option is to recover your files (if possible) and reinstall/repair Windows.

A shop can often help you back up your data and reinstall, but if the drive is encrypted, you’ll also need the recovery key/password to access protected data. Also keep in mind Windows 7 is out of support, so once you’re back in, it’s strongly recommended to move to a supported Windows version.
