Hi ruben martinez,
Thank you for reaching out to the Microsoft Q&A Forum. I understand how concerning it can be to see a “No operating system found” message, especially on a device that was working recently. This message usually means:
- The internal hard drive is no longer being detected
- The boot information on the drive has become corrupted
- The BIOS boot order has changed or reset
Let's start by checking your BIOS and Hard Drive Detection
- Power OFF the TC1000
- Power ON and immediately press F10 (sometimes F2) to enter BIOS Setup
- Check:
- Is the hard drive listed?
- Is the boot order set to Hard Disk first?
If the hard drive is not listed, it may need replacement.
Please keep in mind that Windows XP is no longer designed for modern internet use. After reinstalling, the TC1000 is best suited for:
- Legacy software
- Offline applications
- Specialized or historical use cases
I look forward to receiving your update. Let me know if you need further assistance, feel free to ask me by clicking "Add Comment" or "Add Answer" if you cannot add comment so your response will be visible. Thanks for your effort.
