View a case summary in Outlook with Service in Microsoft 365 Copilot

Service in Microsoft 365 Copilot generates case summaries in Outlook to help you quickly understand the context of a case and resolve customer issues more efficiently. The summary includes key information about the case, such as the customer, product, problem statement, and any notes that are linked to the case.

View case summary

If you're signed in to Service in Microsoft 365 Copilot, when you open an email or a meeting that's related to a case, the Service pane shows a summary of the case.

  • See the case based on which the summary is generated.
  • Switch to a different case to generate a better summary.
  • Copy the summary to use it elsewhere.
  • Share feedback about the summary to help improve it.
