IActiveIMMRegistrar::RegisterIME method

Registers an Active Input Method Editor (IME) for the specified language.

Syntax

HRESULT RegisterIME(
  [in] REFCLSID rclsid,
  [in] LANGID   lgid,
  [in] LPCWSTR  pszIconFile,
  [in] LPCWSTR  pszDesc
);

Parameters

• rclsid [in]
  A REFCLSID that contains the CLSID of the Active IME to register.

• lgid [in]
  A LANGID value that contains the natural language that is supported by the Active IME to register.

• pszIconFile [in]
  The address of a string value that contains the path to the icon file associated with the Active IME to register.

• pszDesc [in]
  The address of a string value that contains the description of the Active IME.

Return value

Returns S_OK if successful, or an error value otherwise.
