No clicks, No impressions for about two weeks

Wow, what a mess it was to get here. Someone needs to update the links.

But anyway.

I made my ads about 2-3 weeks ago.

My ads are set up on CPC

On first day I saw zero traffic. on second day I got 23 impressions.

after that, nothing. I haven't seen anything. I even changed my bid to more than highest bid. Still nothing at all.

It only used like 4% of what I paid. So I know I'm not out of money in my account.

What's going on with this?

    Hi Alan,

We are in the same boat. I have my max click set on 5.00 per click. Desperate to see something.

My settings are on "accelerate" - i have 1300(!) keywords in my ad group, and 5 approved ads.

    I uploaded 70 euro's to my account..Still, nothing.

What is going on here? I use AdWords daily without any problems, and Bing is very much the same yet i still can't seem to get my ads running?

    Hi Team,

Thank you for contacting us regarding the performance with your account.  I would encourage to call in for one of our support team member can assure there are no holds for review on the account.

I would like to start by having you look at the campaign budget and assure is on accelerated if set to Daily Budget. Any changes you make we recommend pause the campaign 1st.

Use Keywords in phrase to assure you are capturing every audience looking for or in relation to your product. Our System provides plural and singular as well as misspell keywords you do not have to repeat them.

In a similar vein to budget, but much more likely, you need to check that you have set a realistic bid price for traffic. Many people are just “dipping their toes” into the search engine marketing (SEM) space. Just because the minimum bid price is a few pennies per click, it is entirely possible that your competitors have already worked out what the traffic is worth and have decided to pay substantially more for the traffic. Good quality adverts, with good historical click through rates (CTRs) are rewarded by Microsoft, giving your advert more impressions, and clicks at a lower cost per click, but until you have a historical click through rate for a particular keyword that is mathematically meaningful, you might need to push the boat out for just a bit.

The Ad Preview tool is still under Beta and the information sometimes may vary.  I usually recommend start with small group of keywords related to your product and optimize from there.

My advice would be to start with a bid price which is certainly likely to generate enough impressions at the start, then try to bring it down through quality text that generates good click-through rates.

    Are my ads live? (microsoft.com)

    Thanks

I am having the same problem also and have had the same problem on two different accounts now. I have set all my bids high enough to at least be getting something.  I've called in and just today chatted with a representative on the phone who actually took control of my computer to show me some things but nothing has fixed this problem. Nobody knows anything???? I find that hard to believe. It's too bad because I much prefer this interface to Adwords, but they just simply don't want or care about our business because if they did they would be fixing this problem long ago.

FYI - A few times on another account of mine where the same thing was happening..I was able to get someones attention who then put my account on super speed....and I blew thru money like it was going out of style...so they have their little switches...they just need to turn them on.

my suggestion for everyone is to call them and ask them turn the switch on.

    Hello Priscilla,

I am having the same exact issue here - my ads were disapproved all of a sudden, after a few days they had been running nicely...

After having fixed the supposed issue with them, they are now appearing as Eligible but still they are NOT running.

Can someone from the Bing Ads team please look into my account and see whether there's anything wrong?

    Thanks

    Luca

Somewhere you are strangling your potential delivery and that can either be, 1) matching type on keywords and/or 2) 'managed placements' which means to run only on some websites for both text and display ads.

Loosing up the match type and check that you are not restricting your ads to a few websites.
