If possible, what is proper Syntax to include two fields in a combo box?

I would like to see a Field for ItemNumber and Description.

Why do you need rich text? Can you provide an example?

A combo box can display multiple columns when the list is dropped down. But once selected it can only display one column. If you want to display multiple columns all the time you can use a List box control.

There are multiple ways of handling your example of displaying the Item Number and Description once selected. One way would be to add an unbound text box control with a controlsource like =cboItem.Column(2). That text box could be set to display as Rich text if you want.
