File Explorer not previewing pdf files since 25H2 update

Since installing the 25H2 update to Windows 11, the preview for pdf files is not working.

I just get the following message "The file you are attempting to preview could harm your computer. If you trust the file and the source you received it from, open it to view its contents"

I have tried everything to restore the preview without success.

Any help would be much appreciated!

I clicked on properties on the problematic files and see new "Security" options as shown below. I clicked "unblock", clicked apply and restarted Explorer. I had to restart Explorer to be able to preview the file. What a pain as I have 110 files I need to preview and tried to unblock them in a batch without success (I.e., (selecting multiple files and then clicking properties):

What a wonderful gift from Microsoft to wake up to ... not. Do ya reckon they could start using their own AI to roadtest their updates from a user perspective??? I absolutely rely on the preview function for our design and signage business. Does Microsoft read these comments because they need to fix this problem that they created urgently.

    I found a solution

Control Panel -> Internet Options -> Security - > Trusted Site -> Sites

Add the IP address / Website of the shared files.

    This worked for me

Go into powershell and copy and paste: Get-ChildItem -Path C:\ -Filter *.pdf -Recurse -File -ErrorAction SilentlyContinue | Unblock-File

Just Uninstall this update Go to control panel > Uninstall Program > View installed update (on upper left side) > find this update ( Security Update for Microsoft Windows (KB5066835)) Uninstall it after that restart and preview will restore but......

If you have NAS Drive or Network Shared drive you need to do one more thing, write internet option in search box, Go to Security > Click on Trusted SItes (Green Logo) > then sites > then uncheck "Require server verification bla bla''', then enter your NAS or Network Drive IP in this format - ( for Example) = \\192.168.1.75 just hit add and close it than close file explorer and refresh it and open again to see preview it will work.... thank me later.
