    Hello @Thozama Makiza

As the error suggests you've hit the default limit for your subscription for the family "Standard ESv5 Family vCPUs" due to which you are unable to create the resource as your resource requires 44 vCPUs, but your subscription is limited to 4 vCPUs and needs additional 40 vCPUs to be enabled.

To fix it, you'd be required to raise the request the limit extension for your subscription. Here are the steps that you can follow for it:

    1. Goto https://portal.azure.com/#view/Microsoft_Azure_Capacity/QuotaMenuBlade/~/myQuotas for your subscription.
    2. Make sure to select your right subscription and right region in the top filter box:

    3. Then search for the family "Standard ESv5 Family vCPUs", for example I've select Brazil South for me the limit is set to 350.

You have to select the icon (which is in blue color) written next to Yes under Adjustable column.
    User's image

    1. Then you'd see something like below and if you see something like below "Unavailable in this region", suggestion would be to use "Show recommendations".
Otherwise you can go ahead with "Contact Support" option

    2. After going ahead with "Contact Support" option, you are required to create the support ticket with "Leave & Create" option
      User's image
    3. You can later on fill out your next limit for the vCPU cores
      User's image
    4. Then you can share the required details and complete the process by creating the support request for the increase and if they happen to conclude that they can't approve the required limit then you'd have to discuss with them for the alternate region or the alternate SKU which they suggest and then you can pick that for your deployment.

To request a quota increase for your SAP deployment, you can follow these steps based on the error message you received regarding insufficient vCPU quotas:

    1. Sign in to the Azure Portal: Go to the Azure portal.
    2. Access Quotas: In the search box, type "quotas" and select Quotas from the results.
    3. Select Compute: On the Overview page, select Compute to view the relevant quotas.
    4. Identify Quotas to Increase: Find the quotas for "Total Regional vCPUs" and "Standard ESv5 Family vCPUs" that you need to increase.
    5. Submit a Support Request: Since you are exceeding the limits, you will need to submit a support request:
      • Click on the support icon next to the quota you want to increase.
      • In the New support request form, confirm the pre-filled information is correct.
      • For Quota type, select Other Requests, and then proceed to the next step.
      • Provide the necessary details, including the new limits you are requesting (e.g., increase to 44 for Total Regional vCPUs and 40 for Standard ESv5 Family vCPUs).
      • Complete the form and submit your request.

By following these steps, you should be able to request the necessary quota increases for your SAP deployment.
