Hello.
I recently lost access to my previous account, L***************@gmail.com, both on Microsoft and Google.

I've gone through the recovery questionnaire multiple times without success as I do not possess some of the information (e.g. past credit card details), but there are some things paid for and otherwise I would like to try and reclaim access to.

How should I proceed?

If you have lost access to your Microsoft account and are unable to complete the recovery questionnaire due to missing information, you can follow these steps:

    1. Confirm Account Ownership: Ensure that you are using the correct email account. Sometimes, trying different variations or previously used emails can help.
    2. Submit a Support Request: If the recovery prompts are not successful, you can submit a support request through the Microsoft 365 support page. Select the option that indicates you cannot sign in or access your tenant. You may need to verify your identity and ownership of the organization through official documentation, domain ownership, or nonprofit registration data.
    3. Contact IT Partner: If your account was created or managed by a Microsoft partner, reach out to their support team for assistance.
    4. Use Alternative Recovery Methods: If you have any other recovery options set up, such as an alternate email or phone number, try using those to regain access.
    5. Documentation: Prepare any relevant documentation that might help prove your identity or ownership of the account, as this can facilitate the recovery process.

Remember that Microsoft cannot bypass identity verification, so providing as much accurate information as possible is crucial for recovery.

Hey there! Nice to meet you!

If I may ask, have you forgotten your account's password by any chance?

If not, may I have the exact error message when signing in?

Do you have access to the security information/verification methods, phone, or email address linked to the account?

Do you see any unfamiliar email addresses/phone numbers upon signing in to your account?

Did you have two-factor authentication (2FA) active on the account? If yes, do you still have the 25-character recovery codes?

Lastly, may I know when was the last time you successfully signed in to your Microsoft account?

    Best regards,

    Darhyl
