Fixed this issue by uninstalling KB5065426 on the client machine failing to connect to server drives. One of my other machines and the server still have this update though and their mapped drive connections never broke.

Someone said it's a SID issue. If you cloned your machines, you may have issues.

I installed 8 Beelink Mini PCs. They come with Windows 11. You power then up and it does the windows install. Several do not work,

I have one that was working and is still working. I checked the SID and it was different then the main sharing system.

I looked at the failing systems SID and they were all identical.

I am currently looking at how to change it and what it will do the all the installed settings and software.I did uninstall the update and all is working but within a short time it gets reinstalled. I tried using showhide but it does not show the offending update.

Not sure why but I went to optionalfeatures and ran as administrator unchecked all smb 1.0/CIFS file sharing support and all my machines will now take a log in password. It worked for all 4 computers with the update and I still can access them with the 2 that dont have the patch without the log in. Sorry I forgot this, to get multiple computers to connect to the same computer I had to change the share from the default 20 to 19. Again, this is how I got this to work on my network consisting of 4 machines with the update 2 without the update all running windows 11 home. Microsoft still needs to fix this or come up with some new instructions on how to setup a small network with windows 11.

I was having the same issue since the November 2024 Windows 11 update. The following link is to the fix that worked on all of my Windows 11 computers. Just follow the instructions.
